My mum has been told to get a scan in the next two weeks, she is only suffering from bit of dizzyness and and mild head aches that come and go.
Is this normal to get a scan this quick on the nhs? Or you think there was some red flags?
Cheers

Hi,
Yes, scans do happen quicker nowadays - the nhs is desperately trying to cut down waiting times. Some people get same day scans so try not to worry too much. Hope you mum gets on okay.

I think it depends on the area where you live. I only had to wait a week for my mri scan a couple of years ago. I hope your mums ok x
Thanks for the replies, I was going on my own recent experience, I probably had more symptoms but took three trips to the doctors before I got a referral. Then they said it can take upto 16 weeks so I went private.
Was abit surprised and obviously worried.
Thanks again
