    Weird Throat Issue...Need Reassurance

Ok. So today at work I was lifting boxes and one of the box flaps was open. I stupidly picked up the box and the hard cardboard flap hit me (pretty hard) in the throat. It obviously hurt when I did it, but then it was fine. Now that I am at home I felt it a little bit and it started hurting again. I know I shouldn't prod, but now I'm worried that something sinister has happened. My question is: Have any of you ever bruised your windpipe? I just need to know that I am gunna be OK. I refuse to google.

I work in a lab on some days...carrying cases of testing product around...and yes I have done this before, whacked myself good a few times too. It should go away after a day or two....don't pick at it. If it doesn't get better go see your doctor.
