Hi Neptune. I have also been reading about using higher doses of 5 htp for depression. A few sites actually recommend between 100 and 400mg for depression.
150mg was doing nothing for me and I am now on 300mg, 100mg 3 x's a day.
I have only been on this higher dose for 3 days so it is to early to tell if it is making a huge difference but I do feel 'slightly' better.
Does Michael Marray's book make interesting reading or does it just go over what we could find on the internet? I have thought about buying it but have quite a growing library of self help books collecting dust already!
