Dad - 1st anniversary

I will let you know how I get on.
I am dreading the actual day of the anniversary however maybe it won't be so bad when it is here.
I am going to do something special for my Dad - not sure what yet - I have a few ideas.
Your suggestions have really helped me.

Yesterday was the first anniversary of my Dad passing away.
I really thought it was going to be awful and I stressed a lot about it beforehand but then when it got to yesterday I felt fine, albeit sad obviously.
I went to the cemetary and placed a wreath and other ornaments down for my mum and dad and lit candles. There was a real sense of peace in the cemetary and it looked beautiful covered in snow.
I feel a sense of relief that the first anniversary is over - I just have my Mums in July after this.
I take comfort from the fact that they are both together now, hopefully.
Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU, to all who wrote messages to me. I really do appreciate it.
