Why is taking a tablet so hard?

I've just taken my first dose of Propranolol....it took me about two hours to pluck up the courage. Now I'm sitting here waiting to sprout another head or something.

I took it eventually because I could see the frustration on my husband's face. He dosn't understand that when I read the leaflet with the tabs, I'm assuming I'm going to get all the side effects (as most anxious people do:()

Well, I'm off now to try and relax....not quite sure how but I'll try......

    Hi jem,

Maybe in the future don't read them!!

I took them on and off for a couple of months no problems!

Hey, I was on propanolol for a few months about a year ago and I had no symptoms whatsoever so i'm sure you'll be fine. I know its easier said than done but just try not to think about it.

Hopefully ill be ok it just worries me that the side effects can be fainting and dizziness and im most worked up about fainting thats what kicks me off worrying.
