I think for some people it can depend on if they have been taking them for a long term as we all know they can stop working after longterm use.
I do know of at least one person who didn't find they did a thing and that is my other half. Last night I gave him one of my mum's sleeping pills, which is Nitrazapam, and it did absolutely nothing for him
Hi Joy
I was wondering that myself, I've been taking diaz myself and really don't think they make any difference. I've find that i don't bother taking them anymore when my anx is high as the feelings of doom just remain. Also anx and depression are so closely linked, sometimes i can't tell the difference and benzos can make depression worse, so there's the danger that the diaz could make the symptoms worse. I'm on seroxat at the moment, was doing well but have hit the skids again over the last few days. Are you on the Agomelatine? how's that going?

Gave up on the Agomelatine a few days ago as the anxiety went sky high altho they are supposed not to have that effect. Gotta to confess to the shrink on Friday and she'll say I didnt give them long enough but they are supposed to work within 2 weeks and i couldnt stand the anxiety,
Benzo have never seemed to work for me more is the pity.the other day i was so dersperate i took enough to knock an elephant out to no effect

Hi Joy
Sorry to hear things not going well...I too upped my dose of diaz and felt no effect, except a raging headache. I find codine based painkillers have a sedative effect on me...but they are very addictive...still not much chance of us getting addicted to benzos, so that's something. Hope you find something to help soon...pity about the agomelatine, i think many thought it might offer a great new hope.
