fear of choking

ive been going through this since i was 16 i am now 19 i dont eat any solids at all i drink ensure and soup and drink water,soda etc.
i am looking for help its the main reason i have anxiety!

I remember going through this and started chewing my food more times than needed. By the time I had finished my main course everyone else was drinking coffee and asking for the bill.
The best thing to do is to eat things that are easy to swallow and then slowly work on it from there.

Hi I have had this problem for about 24 years now.

I went through a period of living on liquidised food for months.

At the moment I do eat but only certain foods.
I eat a lot of potatoes backed potatoes mostly with lots of gravy.
I eat tin carrots broccoli and on good days chicken that I cut up into tiny bits.
Eat a lot of ice cream and mouses and custard .
Tins of mince and chilli with lots of curry sauce on I fund good.
It will take me about a hour to eat a meal.
On a bad day will liquidise food.
I have complain with a banana blended in the morning to pick my blood sugars up.

I weigh 6 stone 4 and have done for years.

I have told many doctors over the years about the problem but they just say it is anxiety and I have to get over it.

You are not alone with this and my heart goes out to you. .
