    adrenaline

    would this make sense, the other day i had to go to the docs and there was so much adrenaline running round my body (even tho im on a low dose of blocker) ne way that night i had loads of ectopic beats would it make sense that it was my body trying to calm its self? i gota wear a monitor for 24 hrs monday so scared

    If you were anxious about your appointment it would seem logical that you felt the symptoms you did, both at the time and for a while afterwards.

    Also BBs only lessen the symptoms, so if your anxiety was raised it probably would have felt like they weren't having much effect.

    your body is responding as it should when you are sensitive in this way, the more stress=more adrenaline=more ectopics, its a vicious circle but normal. the 24hr monitor reads the heart and a doctor is able to tell what medication etc, if any, you need from it. once fitted, which doesnt take long, you forget its there and its just as easily removed.
