just wondering if you can stay on citalopram while you are pregnant me and my husband were thinking about having a baby but i dont want to if it means i have to come off my meds because i dont wanna go down tht awful rd again any advice x

I am not sure wether or not you can reamin on citalopram when pregnant but i know that there must be some meds that you can take as my friend as had three babies whilst taking some kind of medication for bi-polar and anxiety. Its a question on my mind too, as my partner and i were going to try for baby number 2 but now my anxiety and its horrific symptoms have kicked back in and i'm unsure wether to bother or not. I am not currently taking any meds but it is looking very likely that i may have to as i feel so bad. I am going to speak to my gp about this on Monday so i will let you know what his thoughts are.
