Weird chest feeling

I can only describe the feeling that I get in my chest as though something has collapsed inside and is putting pressure on me. Its also as though when I breath, its escaping through a hole in my chest and i'm not getting a full breath.

My whole chest area is also tender to touch.

Is this a symptom of anxiety??

ive had exactly the same as you on and off for a long time now ,it is anxiety causing it, i used to describe it as feels like an elephant siiting on my chest and i gasp for air sometimes its an awful feeling i sympathise with you
