    Gluten Intolerant or something else...

SO...I'm still getting the weird discomfort feeling in my right side abdomen.

One minute I seem to have D and the next C. Also, i've noticed what look like tiny brown flecks in my stools (sorry to be so graphic).

My partner thinks maybe it's from the bread I've been eating. Wholemeal with a variety of seeds.
They seem to appear more this morning after eating 4 slices of that bread yesterday and fruit and fibre before bed last night.

I've got a doctors appointment later today...so fingers crossed. Hope it's nothing severe.

Sounds a lot like IBS-A which is Irritable Bowel Alternative which means to alternate between C and D. I have this myself. The specks will probably be the bread but that is quite common to see seeds in your stools as they don't digest as well

Can you get discomfort in the right abdomen and/or lower back with IBS?

Went to the Doctors last night. He said it sounds as if it could be IBS but wants to rule out anything more serious first.
I've got to take a stool sample in and I have a blood test on Monday for Celiac.
