Numb buttock, leg & foot with Sunburn Sensation on Back

Dear NMP friends,

I have had a sunburn sensation on my back, numbness in my right buttock, leg and foot and Raynaud's phenomenon for months. I also have a slight numbness in my left cheek on my face.

I had an appointment with a neurologist who dismissed the symptoms (without doing blood tests or MRI, although I am scheduled for the latter).

I am so so worried. My family and friends don't understand and my GP doesn't seem to understand the impact this is having on my life.

Can anyone advise me what this is and what I should do. Feeling lost and very lonely

i get that sunburn feeling but in my belly usually just below my ribs and i havent a clue what it is

I get the burning sensations some times on my body, really does feel like sun burn.
I would write down your symptoms with the date and time also if your on your period.
just keep a log book.
I understand that this must be highly stressful and uncomfortable for you, you will have to get used to peoples lack of understanding, a trying to get them to understand will leave you feeling tired and maybe even rejected.
if your lucky you might find one or two people who will give you moral support.

luckily your are having your tests done, so wait and see what the results are to that,
if it comes back clear you may have to accept it or try and find a new doctor or specialist that is willing to help you get to the bottom of this.

the face numbness can be cause by TMJ or tensing you jaw or grinding your teeth in your sleep, or even wisdom teeth if you have them.
