Green Box above Flag

Hi

I was wondering about the little green box above each member's flag. When i move my cursor over it a statement appears. For example, on mine it says "BexieB is on a distinguished road". What are the significance of these statements?

They are called "reputations". If someone likes a post you did they can award it and your reputation goes up.

I wouldn't read too much into it to be honest as we don't really use it on here.

Yeah Rain - We had problems with someone constantly trying to increase their reputation by PM'ing members asking them to rate their threads so I removed it all.

Yes this tends to be a problem - I am active in anotehr discussion forum where there are a few cabals who try and boost the reputation of their friends, to what particular end I have no idea.

It's a shame really because it's nice to be able to tell someone their post was helpful/amusing or whatever.
