Day 22 citalopram to mirtazipine

Well here I am on Day 22, can't believe it is 3 weeks now since started this drug. Today I woke early 6ish and did still feel tired but decided to get up and go on the treadmill, that made me feel more awake. Only having the odd brain zap now and think I am at last really starting to benefit from this new drug. I almost went back to the GP half way through my 2nd week to come off mirt but with encouragement from here I stuck with it and am so glad I did. My next main "hurdle" will be going back to work and how I will be effected when that time comes. For now I continue on my journey, hoping to get stronger day by day. Thanks for reading. Jo

Well done for sticking with the Mirtazapine Jo. I have been taking Mirtazapine for several years and it works really well for me. I had many unsuccessful attempts at several different SSRI's before starting Mirtazapine, I haven't looked back since
