Oh guys, I don't know what to say... This has seriously brought a tear to my eye. For people to be so caring...

Just a quick update on things... My mum went for her scan on Monday. For those of you who don't know, it was to see if she has cancer. Something showed up in the scan, so she has been referred onto another department, to assess things... She was also asked to make an appointment with her GP for next week. I'm assuming it's so her GP can go over everything in more detail, and arrange the next steps. The GP my mum is seeing is actually my own GP, who I have been seeing for my anxiety and depression etc for the last few years... So I know she is in good hands

In all honesty, I am going out of my mind with worry. It feels like my world is falling apart. I am just hiding away for a while. But thank you all so much for thinking of me...

Melancholia, a special thank you for starting this thread. You are so lovely

Again, thank you, guys, for shining a little bit of light in this very dark time...
