So Alone
Curl up in my bed
Tears streaming down
The pain inside burns
I feel so alone
The girl up the road
Hiding under her covers
Scared of the monsters
Feeling so alone
The boy on the street
Shivering in the cold
Running away and
Feels so alone
The teen curled in a corner
Surrounded in needles
And bottles of pills
Thinks they're alone
The lady sitting on her bed
Knife in hand
Blood trickling out
So alone, so alone
The man at the bar
One drink after another
Dousing his loneliness
Nothing but alone
The girl hanging from the ceiling
Felt so alone
Alone. Always alone
The angles looking down
Weeping and crying
Pity and compassion
For all those alone
Myself, with realization
No one is alone
We're joined together
Everyone who feels alone
We're no longer alone
We have each other.
