Yes i know what you mean,,it's not stupid. Silly little things can get to you so much when you feel low...
Don't worry you are not alone with it.
im so glad i'm not alone with it
it just seems so stupid
i've never heard anything like it :(
xx
Really i know exactly what you mean,,one stupid word and my mind can run riot for hours...
Panic has no rhyme or reason. Sometimes listening to audio books is like a miracle cure, other times the sound of it is so irritating it grates on me and I have to shut it off. Music, the same way. Don't worry so much about what is making you panic because it really doesn't matter, just find the things that ease your mind, even if only a little and be ready for those things to change. My counselor talks about having as much in your tool box as possible so that when one thing makes you worse, you have something else to try to make you feel better. Sounds kind of odd but it actually helps usually to know that if one thing makes me panic, then I can try something else instead of getting stuck.
I do know what you mean though, sometimes it can be a word you read and sometimes one you hear. One thing I've learned is that you can't figure panic out, sometimes it seems like it plays games with me. As soon as one thing doesn't bother me, something else will appear to take its place.
