    hey

    hi,

im a 21 year old medical student and i have recently been advised by the student advice people at my uni to try this site. ive only begun suffering from panic attacks fairly recently. i think that the root of the problem has been the people im living with combined with the stress of my course. this probably sounds really trival but really is the problems with the people im living with. i dont think my panic attacks are as serious as they can be but have found it really scary as im usually a laid back easy going kind of person an feel like im on a bit of a slippery slope. as you can tell this is all pretty new to me, i havent confided in anyone other than the student advice people yet, but have found it reassuring that to read this site and realise this is a very common problem!

anyways just wanted to say hey!

Hey back Eliot! Sorry to hear about you suffering panic, although it may help you to better understand patients suffering the same later in your career (small compensation perhaps), but welcome to the site! I hope you find it as helpful as I have.
