    changing onto this med

    ive been on another one for quite a while, and now they want to switch to this one, im scared, im soo used to the other med i am on , does this med make you gain weight?

    I think it might have made me gain a little weight (although I am a glutton anyway!) but I think it affects different folk differently. Seroxat also made me feel much better so I was overweight but didn't mind! Despite all the bad press around Seroxat it's the only one that seems to work for me, I've been on Citalopram for the past 3 weeks and it's a nightmare so I'm going back next week to ask to go back on Seroxat...

    I've also been on Citalopram for 4 weeks now and still feel awful, doctor just prescribed me seroxat which i've been on in the past and it's always worked well for me. Just hoping it kicks in quickly.
