mirtazepine / risperdal - panic

hi,

does anyone else feel as though you are going to stop breathing since taking mirtazepine or risperdal? i get that feeling every night...i am overweight but have not felt like this before......on the plus side, the meds are beinning to help me.

Hi Jules,

I think I can relate to how you feel, I too am over-weight (and wonder why the hell my GP prescribed mirtazipine when they are surposed to make you gain weight). I have often felt this feeling (heavy feeling) like I am going to stop breathing...it's really hard to describe but I have felt it. I am on 30mg mirtazipine at the moment but even noticed it when on 15mg. It seems to have settled down a little now I have been taking the drug for around 6 weeks.
