A poo-free night for my son surprisingly. Hopefully he's been cleaned out for his 11am appointment with the long and winding rod!
I did the literal thing didn't I? Oops.

    Your son's having bum-cam?

Yes..His 2nd in a month. He's not bothered by them-just annoyed he has to self-isolate for 3 days beforehand.

    Glad it went well Pulisa.

I'm currently sat in the waiting area of the Breast screening clinic. Oh the joy of a routine mammogram. Preparing myself psychologically to have my boobs shoved in a sandwich toaster (in my head this is what it is).

    This is todays moan.

So mammogram went fine, although one picture was blurry so they had to do it again.

Treated myself to a Costas coffee and a brownie on the way out of the hospital - I think I deserved it!

I will take back todays moan.

Any special technique for the brownie? Round the edges first?

Glad you've had it done, Catkins. Will you be having a cheese toastie for tea?

🤣🤣 I might give the toastie a miss!

There was actually no special technique with the brownie unfortunately. My husband took me through to the hospital because he wanted to go to Wickes, so I had it in the car on the way home. Coffee in one hand, brownie in the other and dog on my knee trying to stick her head out the window. It wasn't a satisfactory mindful cake eating experience!

My daughter would have a fit!!! A brownie needs to be eaten very slowly with a pastry fork cutting off one cross section at a time. No packaged brownies either..She eats the moist artisan baker variety. We have bee known to drive up and down the A3 to source the best specimens of brownie perfection
