Think she's strapped for cash again, isn't she?

I quite admire Katie Price. I dislike Peter Andre more. What's the saying? Beware of Greeks bearing gifts '?
It certainly can't be easy with Harvey anyway.
I didn't see the programme, but can imagine it's content.

My sole source of hot water in Pamplemousse Towers - the kettle - decided to bomb out today after 14 years of service with my mother and myself. Can't get any spares for it either so I've been forced into buying a new kettle from Argos.

Oh no..2 weeks is awfully long to wait when it's absolutely arctic out there!! I presume you've tried loads of firms? Stupid question really. Wouldn't you be a priority with no heat or hot water? Have you got any alternative means of heat? xx

My "contingency plans" for Fortress Pulisa include a cheap spare kettle. 14 years of service..That's one fine kettle considering how much you must use it, PM. Have you gone for a top of the range one this time?

It used to belong to my mother, so I'll be sad to see it go. I did look at Russell Hobbs's 'K65' kettle, which is a modern interpretation of their classic 'K2' kettle but (a) it was £60 and (b) it only holds four pints. As you might be aware, it also provides hot water for when I have a wash. That extra pint makes all the difference so I bought a "quiet boil" one for £34 from Argos. My brother told me that since he moved to his present home in 2009 he's had three kettles! What really annoyed me though is that the element can't be replaced on Mum's old one - it's welded to the body so when it dies, it dies.

I do have spare kettles, but they're in storage somewhere...

No central heating for the last 18 years since we moved here , just bought thicker socks for my hands and feet , as for kettles we’ve gone mad and bought one with a water filter problem is the water has to trickle through before you can boil it , im too impatient to wait a minute then have to wait again to boil it , maybe I should fill it up after Ive done a cuppa , or not .
