side effects - same drug a year later

Hi, just curious if this is a common problem...?! I have been put back on citalopram (20mg) having previously started taking this drug a year ago starting on 10mg and finally taking 40mg which I (stupidly) stopped taking just before Christmas.

I'm about a week into taking it again and feel like crap. I'm shivery, suffering insomnia, have a really sore throat and am yawning a LOT at my desk. The first time I took citalopram I had absolutely no side effects and was also taking Zopiclone at the same time.

Please tell me I'm not the only one to have a bad reaction second time around....

Hi ms,

I take Prozac rather than cit but just thought i'd mention I had side effects the second time but not the first. Hope you feel better soon x
