sexual side effects

I am on multiple medications geodon depakote and was on citalopram I am having troubles maintaining a erection which is a common side effect of citalopram I have been off citalopram for about 3 weeks now and it still hasnt come back.. its possible that the geodon causes this as well but its like 1 in 1000 that you get that effect from it so I guess my question is how long do you have to be off citalopram for the effect to go away

Hopefully this will get better for you soon .Give it a while for you body to adjust to not having the Citalopram .It can take a couple of months ,but hopefully it wont take that long .Every one is different ,its difficult to put a time limit on things .Try to relax and not expect the worst as this can have a bad effect too . i was on it for a good 6 months and didnt really need it... and I was on 20 mg and yes I still totally wanted to have sex just couldnt and still cant... I have now been off it 3 weeks
