Thought I'd write a little post to celebrate a success.
About one year ago, I came down with glandular fever and thought I was seriously ill with lots of nasty things. Fast forward six months, and while walking in the countryside in Germany I had a panic attack and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. A month later, I had another major panic attack in the car while stuck in traffic on the motorway. I subsequently didn't get into the car for over a week, and became too frightened to walk more than 100meters at a time.
I was eventually put on citalopram, 10mgs to begin with, and now on 20mgs. Recently I have been feeling much much better. Just now I went for a 1km walk, with a little bit of a run at the end! I am feeling confident enough that in two months time I am going on holiday to Beijing, which I am really looking forward to.
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone on this site that helped me during the bad days.
