Palpatations

Really scared as i keep having palpatations the last few days ive read that it can be caused by anxiety,dehydration and heart problems but all i can seem to think about is that its my heart ( because i was told by GP that i had slight furring of the arteries) im really worried plz help

You're likely ok, as you said it's probably your anxiety. My husband has that too and he also freaks out about it all the time. His sister has it and insisted on seeing a cardio doc and he said that its' very very common. Just try to take a deep breath and relax.

Hey ashero, there are sooo many reasons for palpitations, I suffer from them myself and its down to anxiety as much as the lil voice in my head wants to tell me its not! If your worried about the furring of the arteries speak to your GP if that could be a symptom of it. Eitherway becoming anxious about it will make palpitations happen more often anyway. Try not to worry, keep your mind busy and they should die down. Its not a nice symptom to have whatever the cause so i can understand. Seeing your gp will reasure you either way. Just dont GOOGLE! its bad bad xxx
