    swollen feet/ankles and citalopram?

Since started taking citalopram I've noticed myleft ankle and foot getting swollen. It always used to get a little bit swollen in hot weatheror after a long, stressful day at the office but my regular exercise and massage always took care of it, and an hour of raising my foot would do the trick if nothing else.

Now though, it is always swollen and is larger than it ever was before the meds - I've noticed it got larger with each pill increase and sometimes my lower leg and foot feels uncomfortable.

Anyone else experience this on citalopram?

    Hi

I never had anything swollen after taking Citalopram and this is my third time on it, not sure if this can be side affect but i think you should maybe speak to your GP about it.
    Hope it gets better.

Both my legs and ankles swell up, I've had all sorts of tests and gp says he doesn't know what is causing it. Maybe it is citalopram
    Any way don't worry
