    The Writing On The Wall

I have written on my bedroom wall, "You will feel better again, remember!"

This is because I think I'm down for ever. I forget that it passes.

It might come back, but so do the good days.

    Good grief you two.
Yes this is a great idea, in fact I have a memory box, where I have stored lots of pieces of paper from different happy points in my life, with the date and how I feel and what was happening, like "24/08/09, just bought goldfish."
Something thats PROVES that you can be happy is the best thing ever.

I got my memory/photo box out today, for the same reason you said Luna. I usually look through all the stuff and have good memories, but today it actually made me feel worse! sorry I know thats really negative, I was looking through all my stuff and it just made me teary. Everything that used to make me happy now makes me sad because I cant seem to feel happiness!

Anyway Im going to try your idea John, its good and its positive and it cant do me any harm. wishing you well

That does sound like a good idea.

I have a few photos but mostly postcards on the wall. My best friend and I send each other postcards, often of animals. It makes me feel more relaxed to have them on the wall. I also have a load of gig tickets and festival wristbands stuck to the wall, so I can look at them and think about the great gigs I went to. But sometimes it does just make it more painful, thinking about all the stuff I got up to at university and how empty my life is now.

I am having a better week at the moment, feeling positive for the first time in about 8 or 9 months. I should write about how I am feeling now to keep myself going when I am feeling down, you are very right, we will feel happy again, we will feel down again too.

My picture of Jennifer Aniston is a head shot and she has a Mona Lisa expression.
Neither smiling or frowning and I've drawn a speech bubble saying, "You will feel good again,
    remember!"

I will know I wrote it when I felt better after a bad period of time.
