Pregnant, suffer with IBS...any advice please.

I have just found out im pregant....i already have 2 daughters. My question is for the ladies who suffer IBS and have been pregant. I have only suffered IBS for the last 2 yrs, so i dont know what to expect being preganat this time suffering from it. Could someone let me know if it gets worse, better, or what??? Im a tad nervous!!!

Hi Debs,

I just cut out spicy food and high fat foods and watched the dairy i had milk but tried to stay away from cheese etc i kept to a nice heatly diet and had 3 meals a day and snacked between meals so i had like a steady flow if food so i never felt really hungry. I didnt have to much fruit or veg though because i would be in agony so i just kept to 2/3 portions of fruit or veg a day instead of 5.

I also found i only put 9lb on it only took me 2 months to get back into me size 10 jeans.
I also found that pregnancy vitamins helped and i also took peppermint tablet which helped alot.
