Melon is good for anxiety and panic attacks!!

I absolutely love melon, and I know that it's full of goodness except it's full of sugar too!!!

I have read up on it and found this article where it says that melon is good for fighting all kinds of illness including anxiety and panic disorder. Here's the link: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m.../ai_n27927914/

I hope you find the article interesting and hopefully helps with your anxiety too

Interesting thanks. I know someone who swears if they start to get a cold or flu, they eat water melon all day and it goes.

Wow, didn't realise this. Will try anything if it could help with anxiety I've been on Citalopram for 7 weeks and still feel spaced out and still get anxious. Heard something about Omega3 fish oil can help a little bit with depression?

I love melon so will give this a try.
Stressed Eric, I'm also on citalopram, 8 months now and I take Omega3 fish oil along with other vitamins that I have read about on the internet. I definitely feel better than I did 8 months ago, give the Omega3 fish oil a try. All the best to you.

Thanks Jannie. Will try the fish oil as well. Anything that could help with the anxiety sounds good to me

It took me a good 6 weeks to feel any better and I was still anxious after 3 months so my Dr increased dosage to 40mg and feel so much better now. Still have odd moments or days when I'm a bit shaky/lightheaded but nothing like I used to be, hate even typing that down, feels like I am tempting fate :-) Good luck with the Omega, I also take something called Inisitol, which I think I read about on here and other vitamins. All the best to you.
