    Blip caused by a cold?

For the last few days I have felt my anxiety and panic attacks return, to the point where today I feel pretty ropey.

I do feel very heady and I have a runny nose constantly.

I have been taking Citalopram for about 9 weeks now and have felt pretty good for the last 4. I feel this is just a small blip and I will pick myself up in afew days, but I just wondered....is this a blip in the normal sense, or has being a bit under the weather with a cold brought this on?

Colds are the arch-nemisis of panic. I can be doing really well, feel like my panic is under control and then a cold comes along and it really knocks me sideways! Take strenght in the knowledge a cold is the most likley cause for the blip and know that you will feel better soon.

It's great that you've been feeling good for four weeks! Anxiety can lower our immune systems and make us more succeptible to colds, so make sure you're getting your vitamin C.
