Yes, this happens all the time. I think it is quite normal to feel a bit weird after doing something really good to push yourself.

I posted in successes after making a huge step one day last week and the following day I felt awful all day. It is hard to accept after you have done so well but just give yourself time. I can look back on my successful day now and still be proud of it and forget the bad day that followed. I hope you can do the same.

    Hi Amanda,

I always found when I had a really successful day, the next day I tended to feel rubbish, but that does go away, and the good days start to follow each other.

Don't let this get you down as you are doing really well.

    Take care

well done for doing this, but remember your body can react the same way to joy as it does to fear. excitement can release the same adrenaline as fear, so this is not a set back it is a normal reaction, the more your body gets used to these successes the less it will react like this, so keep on going, nothing to fear from success only freedom will come your way

    i wish you happiness

    Hi

I think the small success are something that you can build on on have more. Keep it up carry on being successful dwell on them and not the depersonalisation

    I find this a lot - I think it's a normal part of recovery.

The good days will keep coming and the bad days will get less.

Hi Amanda this is completely normal how you are feeling but hang on to how good you were feeling and it will get better and you will trust how good it was. Think we get these reminders as wake up calls when really we know ourselves how well we have done.

    Love Sal xx
