Advice re cit increase please guys?

I started taking citalopram 11 days ago, increased from 10 to 15 mgs 2 days ago, have been prescribed 20mg actually, but today feel really anxious again, haven't felt like this for over a week now...
Just need reassurance it's the increase that's caused it and if maybe I should go back to 10mg for a while longer?

Hey Happycamper,
I'm just beginning my 4th week on cit now. I began with 10mg for my first week then went up to 20mg on my second and I was highly anxious for those two weeks. Once your body gets used to it, the anxiety will begin to decrease.
Part of mine was worrying about the side effects of cit making the anxiety worse as well!

Stick with it, as it will soon pass and try not to focus on the side effects too much.
