stomach pains

Hi i really need some reassurance i have had pains in lower stomach on and off since saturday. This morning they were really bad it even hurts when i put pressure on my lower adomen, i have very bad anxiety have alot of stress at present. I'm on anti depressents and i'm very low could this be anxiety or worse like cancer. I'm so scared. I have recently finished my period could it still be pains from that. I'm so scared i'm panicking which does not help my health anxiety as i have really bad panic attacks which lead into palpations and ectopics.

I always try to do a bit of logical deduction before I start climbing the walls, so start by trying to establish a few facts, like:

* how likely is it that it's related to your period?
* is it in exactly the same place all the time, or does it move?
* have you got any other "gut" symptoms? (wind, diarrhoea etc.)
* have you started taking the antidepressants recently? (they can upset your gut temporarily)
* have you changed your diet?
* or eaten/drunk anything that could upset your stomach (vino, curry, chillies, you know the sort of thing )
* is it worse when you're hungry, or after you've eaten?
* have you "been" recently (i.e. do you have constipation - sorry!)

Any of these can be really basic causes of stomach pains, so try and look for the basic things first.
