Freinds 18th

hi, its me friend party for his 18th 2nite,

i had a really bad panic attack, which i made a post on jus recently,

i am worried to go as i fear another panic attack or worse will happen. i cant help but fink that.

i dunno what 2 do

Hi Dragon,

I think many of us have been where you are now. It is so hard when you have experienced it once to think that it will not happen again. I do know though that if you go thinking it will happen again, it very probably will. And I speak from sad experience!

If you decide to go then just try not to think about it. Try and enjoy yourself. I know it's easier said than done, I find it hard as well. I did read somewhere though (may even have been here!) that if you pretend you're enjoying yourself and just go along with the flow of things then you may actually end up really feeling like you enjoy it. Or at the very least you will forget about your anxieties. And even if you don't, at least the people around you will think you are and just leave you to it which will make it easier for you to leave if you do feel panicky. Did that make any sense?!

Yes you should go. They will only be 18 once and I bet you will be fine.
