    Early Morning Panic

    Since I started medication (about three weeks ago) I've been waking up three hours after I fall asleep in a panic. A few times I've actually had full blown panic attacks, but most of the time I just feel on edge and have only a few symptoms of a panic attack. I usally wake up fearing that I'm about to be sick, shaking, sweating, and crying. I was wondering if anyone had any advice, since this is really interrupting my life. It's getting to the ponit that I don't want to go to bed since I'll only wake up three hours later and not be able to fall asleep again. I've tried cutting out caffeine and caffeine containing food, drinking herbal tea, meditation and breathing techniques, but I can't seem to calm down when I wake up like this. It seems the only thing that calms me is talking to a family member or my boyfriend, but I can't always do this at three, four, five, six in the morning.

    Please help, or at least tell me I'm not the only one suffering from wakeful sleep.

    You are not alone at all.

    I found that I suffered from this especially after I started taking medication and it did last for a few weeks before settling back down to normal.

    I hope it passes soon.

    You are not alone, I started on Medication a week ago and have had the same symptoms, I feel I am goin crazy and dread going to bed at night, I am just concentrating on the fact that once my body gets use to the treatment the feelings will hopefully go away,

    I have found a little help with the use Bach flower remedys and also Lavender oil on the pillow helps with relaxation.
