Muscle twitches

Does any one get this? My muscle in my calf keeps twitching loads can see it through my skin! trying not to get my self to panicky about it :(

hiya ithink youve got a nerve trapped thats all try stetching you leg n gently twisteing your anke lay on your back n put your legs higher than your heart prop your feet up say on a door or wall dont do anything to strenues cant spell lol hope it gets better

don't worry! A few years ago I had a major scare (even flew to another city to be seen by a neurologist!), as my muscles had been twitching constantly for weeks and everywhere, I couldn't even sleep and my hear would jerk up from the pillow!

Anyhow, the diagnosis was: benign muscle twitching. I still twitch, especially if I have used a particular muscle for some time, but it's nothing to worry about.

I am a twitcher too. Read my response to a number of posts, including the recent 'hand weakness'. Also search for a forum for benign fasciculation syndrome. You will find a lot of reassurance there.

Twitching without severe weakness is benign... take care.

At least it's not your eyelid. This happens to me a lot and it is frustrating.

Oh god I had it in my eye lid few months back and it lasted for over 2 weeks!

Getting my self worried about ms :(
