June, I'm so very sorry sweetheart.
Thank goodness you were all together when he passed but I know that won't make any difference to the hurt you must be feeling.
I will keep you in my prayers

Thank you all so much - I just knew there would be some comfort for me on here.
I know i have my family - and I was very lucky to have hubby for 50 years - BUT none of that eases the devastating feeling of him not being here with me.
