I get that feeling that I am falling forward. I think vertigo is the problem with that though.
Totally with ya! I get that regularly. I always put it down to lack of sleep as well for some reason.

I had a lot of this earlier in the year. I felt dizzy a lot of the time, and felt like the desk had suddenly moved away from me!
My doctor suggested I take proprananol more regularly (I was only taking it on days I felt I needed it) - to deal with "background anxiety"
It still happens occasionally, but I am generally feeling a lot better.
In my case, I think it is an over-reaction to feeling tired. That "falling asleep" feeling causes a bolt of panic, which gives rise to the falling feeling. Now I tell myself it is just because I am over-tired (I usually am when this happens) and try not to worry about it.
