Stomach pains I can set my watch by!

So despite 2 months on acid suppressing drugs (I quit them a week ago), I'm still getting upper stomach pains, on and off, every day.

Every day around 4-5pm before my evening meal, they come on and are at their worst. They come on at other times of day too but are always worst before dinner.

I think the next step for me is an upper endoscopy which I'm terrified of, anyone had one??

hi please dont worry about an endoscopy...its not that bad i promise - you would be sedated....i have only had it done down below quite a few times.....the only not very nice part is drinking the liquid to clear your bowels out....but hey thats not that bad either...just stay at home whilst you are drinking and be near the loo xxxx it will be worth it so that you can move on and get the diagnosis that you require xxxxx

oops so sorry just read your note and you said an upper endoscopy...my mother-in-law has had it done....and once again she was sedated.....it will be fine xxxxx
