I stopped taking the birth control pill 3 months ago, do you think this could of triggered my panic attacks because of my hormones?
and also can prozac stop you getting pregnant?

Hi Sharon. It could possibly have been a result of your panic attacks bacause your body has been used to it and all of a sudden you stop taking it. I don't think that Prozac can stop you from getting pregnant, but if you go to your Doctor they will be able to give you more info as well as give you details on other methods of birth control. I come off the pill because we are trying for a baby, well just seeing what happens really but i was just worried that the meds might stop it.

my anxiety started as soon as i gave birth ten months ago. i have been told my anxiety is postnatel caused by hormones so yes it is very possible hormones could be to blame. i dont think prozac can stop you getting pregnant but thats a question for your gp i think. good luck x
