hi i could do with abit of reasurance at the moment i suffer from ibs which as ibs sufferers know you can pass mucus with your poo the mucus im getting seems to be the same colour has my poo tmi is this normal i had a clear colonoscopy just over 2 years ago does anyone elses mucus blend in with there poo im taking pepto bismol at the moment which darkens your poo but would it also darken the mucus im sorry i know theres tmi x

I have had this. I have had clear mucus and the coloured mucus almost the same colour as the poo. I am not on any medication at all so it was not medication that caused mine.

Try not to worry its ibs. Hope this makes you feel bit better.
