    'George'

    Hi,
    I am Ambers and new to this forum. I am wife/mum and live in Berkshire. I may have always been anxious however a near-death experience 15 years ago probably seeled my fate.

    Panic attacks have gotton worse recently to the point I fear agoraphobia hammering at my door.

    After much reading about this condition I have decided to call my anxiety 'George' so that I can deal with him head-to-head.

    I'm quite new too.. And this site has made me feel SOOOOO much better!! I'm positive it will do the same for you!

    I love that you've named your anxiety!! (Made me laugh!!!)

    I think I may copy!!! BE GONE GEORGE!! (kinda of lessens the fear-takes the ILLNESS out of anxiety) ha ha

    Good to meet you Ambers, and I think the naming thing is a fab idea, but I think my anxiety is female, probably a woman who didn't have a very good menopause in a past life and is now sabotaging mine think i'll call my anxiety 'Faith'....feel better already
