Three friends go for a meal and when finished they are presented with a bill for £30.
Each of the three give £10 towards the bill.

The waiter takes the cash to the till but on the way see's that he has made a mistake and the total should have been £25 NOT £30. So he takes the £5 change back to the table in pound coins.
For his honesty he is given a £2 tip and each of the three friends get a pound back.

So as each friend has had a pound change they have only spent £9 each, 3 x £9 = £27 and the waiter has £2.

£27 + £2 = £29....so where has the last pound gone?????
