High CRP levels can indicate an infection or inflamation in the body but the test can't pinpoint where it is occuring. Do you have an infection at the moment? Why was your CRP checked in the first place? What did you Doctor say about the results? Please try not to worry too much, there could be a simple explanation If it was something serious they'd get you into the Doctor's surgery straight away.

My CRP always shows up in red, but is still normal! Slight elevations in blood results are almost always ignored by doctors as harmless so I'm sure if they thought anything was wrong then they'd treat it

My CRP goes high when my Crohn's plays up and it shows some sort of infection in the body.

    It doesn't show cancer though!

There are plenty of fairly benign bowel conditions that could cause the CRP to be raised. Many of them have fairly simple remedies. It could possibly be Coeliac for example.

Please don't stress too much and try and distract yourself and keep busy for the time being until they can investigate further. Poor you, but hang in there.
