should i hang in there or lower the dose?

hi there.. i posted before about upping my citalopram dose from 20mg to 40mg (thanks for all the nice replies last time! ) anyway seen my gp last wednsday and she put me on 40mg ( been on 40mg for one week ) and was on 20mg for 7 weeks before upping the dose...
ive felt really rough for the last 5 days ( headaches - yawning all the time - can't get up on a morning - very negative etc etc )

i'm thinking i felt better on 20mg or should have tried 30mg first.. but my gp said go straight to 40mg..

i'm stuck on this one lol

should i just hang in there on 40mg? am i just going though some more side effects which will soon pass? or lower the dose?

I would follow the advice from your doctor, they know how to help. Hope it goes well.
