    A poem I wrote - Sweet Serenity

    Sweet Serenity

    Halcyon days
    In lush green meadows.

    Calm azure sea
    Gently ripples.

    Soft pink rose
    Sparkling with dew.

    Tiny white butterfly
    Emerges from her cocoon.

    The pitter patter of rain
    On the parched desert plain.

    Rich fertile soil
    A seed of grain.

    Sweet little cherubs
    Singing dreamy lullabies.

    Serene dreamy moon
    Mounts a dusky charcoal sky.

    Beautiful, especially this section 'Tiny white butterfly
    Emerges from her cocoon.' that is so very me.

    Like the butterfly, I have the strength and the hope to believe in time I will emerge from my cocoon.......Transformed.
