New to forum but not to PD ;)

Would just like to say hi to everyone here.... its a shame i didnt find this site a few years back when i really needed it...
I have had PD anxiety attacks for 7 years and am feeling very confident that im conquering it and virtually over it taken me alot of time but with theright advice help anyone and everyone could come to terms with the fact we have mis taught our brains to react in the wrong way but never thought of it like that.... My gp first told me " you have a chemical imbalance, your doign it to yourself, ignore it! rise above it... now i wish i never listened to him what aloud of crap! I will be vivisting the forums here later when im at home and helping if i can as i know exactly where you guys are coming from and wished i could speak to someone when i first was suffering. I swear to you, one day you will look back at yourself like i did a few months ago and say to yourself " what the hell was i doing? all those years of suffering.. honestly i started to cry because i felt alot of time was wasted on me worrying about having panic attacks... dreams nightmares etc all linked once the anxiety stops,, everythign else slows down too... i better do some work good to know this site is here and hope to chat to you all soon..

    Hi Stuio and welcome.

It's always good to hear from people who have made great progress and conquered so much of this.

Maybe you can post on the success stories section at some point?

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

A big welcome to you - look forward to hearing any tips you may have.

"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.
