    Health anxiety and general anxiety/OCD

    Hey guys,

Does anyone else ever use their anxiety as a reassurance behaviour in order to convince themselves that what they are suffering from is not illness but instead, familiar, short term anxiety? This is something I have done for many years now and I'm concerned that it is going to stifle my progress. What are other people's thoughts?

    Laves.

What do you mean sorry? As in, do I tell myself "it's not bowel cancer, it's just your anxiety again"? Because yes, I do do that, but unfortunately my body doesn't listen much!!
