As the question asks, what point is there for someone with high functioning aspergers existing in this modern era?

With high functioning, often the symtoms are not really seen. People presume that mild symptoms mean life aint so bad, but can be mistaken.

This is coz people of our calibre dont fit into an obvious category:-

1. We look or act "too well" to get treatment to deal with underlying issues
2. We are not accepted by our neurotypical equivalents as we lack "social understanding/experience".

So where does that leave people like myself, almost in some form of mental no mans land?
